Senior Account Director, Direct Marketing
Faircom New York (FNY) is a full-service international fundraising and communications agency that works with nonprofit organizations of varying breadth, depth, mission and size. Established more than two decades ago, we are committed to helping charitable organizations extend their reach through an integrated and innovative approach.
We are passionate about our clients because we believe in their work—and we hope that you could be a committed partner in our mission.
About the Position:
We are currently looking for an energetic, experienced direct mail/direct response fundraising professional, with a background in direct mail, integration, analytics, and new business development, to help lead the account management team and drive the overall campaign strategy and execution for several local and national clients.
As a senior team member, you should possess strong executive presence and comfort with managing both clients and the internal team members for growth. And, as a leader, you will communicate and collaborate in a way that inspires team members while being accountable for the outcomes of your projects.
You will own the client relationship, managing client expectations and campaigns from start to finish. Moreover, you will be an integral part of the agency management team, contributing to long-term growth through business development and future planning.
You’re able to master the tough conversations. Running accounts means having important conversations with team members and clients alike, and we are committed to open and candid communication with clients and within our team. When people trust each other, great work can happen.
The position requires a high degree of organization, self-direction, attention to detail and the ability to multi-task. FNY offers a competitive salary and benefits package, including a generous vacation policy, flexible work hours, and a very warm office environment. We hire for both hybrid and remote positions. If you have a positive attitude, innovative ideas, and a roll-up-your-sleeves mentally, we hope to hear from you!

- Oversee project execution for all client programs and ensure that these are delivered on time and within budget parameters.
- Manage junior and mid-level staff to promote personal growth.
- Secure client contract renewals and grow client portfolio.
- Generate opportunities for new business development.
- Requirements/Skills:

- Demonstrated leadership and project management skills.
- Strong analytic skills to interpret campaign performance and metrics over time.
- Problem-solving approach to analyze information and present it in an effective manner.
- Outstanding written and oral communications skills to develop long-standing client relationships.
- Possess a positive attitude in a fast-paced environment; includes working with a broad range of clients and team members.
